Leading the trade at the 2026 Premier Show and Sale was Rhos Nick, the supreme and male champion from Mrs R G Pugh, bought by Mr Connor Colinswood for 750gns. In the pre-sale show, J.M Jeyes & Family won the reserve male rosette with their shearling ram, Lawford Roger, who had many other successes in the 2026 showing season.
Mr M N Jones dominated the female classes including the group of three ewe lamb class, as well as first and second places in the ewe lamb class and first place in shearling ewe class. Their shearling ewe was awarded female champion, and ewe lamb was reserve female champion.
Shearling ewes sold to 320gns from M N Jones, followed by the female champion at 290gns. Ewe lambs from M N Jones sold to 220gns and ewes sold to 130gns from Mr & Mrs Campbell-Hill.
Topping the ram lambs were M N Jones’ Glanmor Stig and J Evans’ Springwood Jonty, both sold at 340gns. The reserve male champion, Lawford Roger, from J.M. Jeyes & Family topped the shearling rams at 520gns, followed by Glanmor Ranger from M N Jones at 500gns. Aged rams were sold to 750gns for the supreme champion, Rhos Nick from Mrs R G Pugh and was followed by 460gns for Nant Sage from W Roberts.
The Phillip Smith Tankard for the most points in the show classes was awarded to Matthew Jones, Glanmor flock.
